Over the past
25 years, I have tried in many different ways
to create a life in harmony and get to know myself
better. I have read many books, participated in
courses, studied and tried many alternative treatment
methods and also meditated in Buddhist centers
throughout the world. All on the journey of self-discovery.
In all these
years I gathered much knowledge and wisdom, yet
did not find a technique to permanently eliminate
emotional blockages, fears or the phobias often
embedded in the psyche from childhood. I was frustrated
to understand so much and yet not have a tool
with which to eliminate my negative emotional
baggage.
In 1999, I
was introduced to a process called Emotional Freedom
Techniques (EFT) as taught by Gary Craig. EFT
consisted of a simple philosophy, the technique
was easy to learn and offered amazing results
in a very short period of time.
At first I
was sceptical, as I did not really believe in
a ‘quick fix’ on issues that have
been engraved for years in my emotional and physical
makeup. However, after applying Emotional Freedom
Techniques on myself for only a short time, I
was amazed at how quickly some of my old issues
and negative attitudes just dissolved.
Later on, both
as an Energy Resonance Therapy (ERT) and Emotional
Freedom Techniques (EFT) Practitioner and Trainer,
I witnessed in the majority of my clients the
most astonishing changes, which usually were both
immediate and lasting.
ERT and EFT
have proven to be the most effective and gentlest
methods I have discovered to free oneself from
emotional stress and the associated physical and
mental symptoms.
